I came out as a bisexual during my sophomore year when I was working with a UNC theater production. When the actors did not believe I was bisexual, I went back into the closet. The only other person I have ever confessed my bisexuality to (offline) was my mother and she still has not believed me to this day.

I was practically dragged out of the closet into bisexuality. It was life-changing and I thank them for it, but even to this day they still refer to me as "gay." I clearly don't have any hesitation as to having feelings for the same gender, but I wish they'd respect the fact that I like the other gender too.

I accept you. I don't consider myself bisexual but sometimes (rarely) I find myself getting flutters over another girl.

You should try to find friends who are more accepting and don't force any one role on you. Also, it doesn't matter what they think.
