I think Global Warming is a scam and is perpetuated by liberals, the media, and the environmental lobby. Not to start a political debate... but that's just what I think.

Global warming has been debunked over the last year. Many prominent scientists have come out and said they don't believe in global warming. There are more polar bears than there were in the 60s and the ice caps are actually a lot thicker in most parts.
It may be because thousands of scientists (who have their degrees) have collected reams of cohesive, incontestable evidence to prove that warming exists. It may be because major scientific organizations, including the American Meteorological Society, recognize its existence.
Here at UNC, people have learned to trust in credentials and hard facts over convincing rhetoric. Refusing to agree with the experts doesn't make you an idiot. It just demonstrates an unwillingness to connect with reality.

I think it's sad that this is just one more point we're not allowed to disagree with without being presumed stupid. Especially here at UNC.
