Eve Carson day depresses me. If I died, there would be no campus-wide mourning ceremony, no Daily Tar Heel spread, no speeches by the chancellor. Nobody would give a shit.

Get out of my head. I was thinking the exact same thing.
Well, I understand that you may be feeling sad or lost right now; it's a common emotion in college. But you have to acknowledge that Eve Carson did a lot for this community, besides being class president. The reason why people remember her is because she made an impact. If you want people to remember and care about you, you have to remember and care about them first: go out and change someone's life, and they'll cherish you more for it, and you'll also feel better about yourself.. That's the only answer I can give.
Maybe if you would stop thinking about yourself and start thinking about other people, there WOULD be a memorial for you if god forbid you were senselessly murdered.

Maybe you should start doing things that people would give a shit about?
