I hate that I am "fat" by media/celebrity standards. I weigh 130 pounds. I shouldn't feel bad about that.

Thank you. I weight the same as you, and I can't stand feeling so insecure about my body. It's healthy, strong, and beautiful- I should be proud.

I'm embarassed to be a feminist and yet still suffer from a false, media-perpetuated ideal of feminine beauty.

Whether you should generally feel bad about it depends on your height. BMI for a 4'6" person at 130lbs is around 31 (thus obese), but the BMI for a 5'6" person at 130lbs is around 21 (thus in the middle part of the normal range).

More advanced, a body fat percentage would be more precise in determining whether you ought to feel "fat", of course compared to standards of your gender since women, on average, have a higher body fat percentage.

The media isn't going to look out for your best interests when it comes to health (focus on weight rather than more advanced signs of physical fitness), money (focus on consumption instead of savings) or virtually any aspect of your life. You're just going to have to force yourself to internalize that message until you go beyond mere rational acceptance.
