I didn't stop liking you. I didn't get too busy. I was falling in love with you and I had to distance myself. Your relationship with her is perfect and I would never forgive myself if I was the cause of it ending.

if he likes you, his relationship with 'her' is not perfect, and it's only cruel of him to prolong it if he knows there are mutual feelings elsewhere. i was just on the other end of a situation like this, and the distance you created is very commendable, but don't think you'd be ruining anything "perfect" if you two had already talked about this during his relationship. you'd only be ruining a hollow eggshell of perfection. ..
