this is romantic, but consider all the opportunities you could miss while sitting around waiting for someone who's already moved on. do what's best for you, not for an "us" that might not even exist in their mind. ..
I'm not going to let any opportunity pass me by, but it's not easy to control what I hope for. Impossible, really.
