I got a D in two of my classes this semester. I've never seen a D staring back at me before. Grad schools will never look at me now with this on my transcript. I think I'm going to be sick.

I don't know what to do.

I know someone who got into and graduated from a great top-tier medical school. He had a D, and a few C's on his UNC transcript.

I'm sure you'll be fine :)

grades are not everything. passion means more

I agree with the passion post. I have SUCH a passion for my major but I just can't seem to make the grade anymore. So I'm transferring somewhere else because I know my dream means more to me than getting that degree from a top-notch school. Think long term, that's the only way to go, even though it's so very difficult right now.

hack at it and show character in your interviews...learn from the experience and you'll be fine

I'm in a very competitive grad program at UNC, and as an undergrad I got 2 F's and 3 or 4 D's. Soo, don't worry - there are other things you can do to make up for lousy grades
